While I started this blog on my personal site out of convenience, I knew that my long-term goal for a more comprehensive PNW weather/climate/social impacts weather blog (nicely outlined in this Crosscut article) would eventually require an independent site written by multiple contributors with a more diverse set of expertise and perspectives than I alone can provide.
For the past two months I have been working on setting up a new website and it is finally ready to launch!
So with that I am excited to introduce the new Convergence Zone blog! To kick the blog off, my colleague Ana Ordoñez has written an excellent summary of the 2020 water year. I am currently looking for additional contributors with subject matter expertise–this could be a single post, a series of posts, or an interview. Contact me with your ideas!
For my subscribers–please update your subscription to the new site!
